Albert Gray Logan was born in Winston-Salem on July 3,1944 and passed away at his home in Winston-Salem on April 16,2022 with his family by his side as he slipped into Heaven to be with his Lord and Savior. It is often said that what happens between the dash when you are born and when you die is what is important, that can definitely be said about Albert. He left behind the most important thing as said in the book of Ecclesiastes 7:1 “A GOOD name is better than precious ointment and the day of death than the day of one’s birth” Albert left behind a GOOD name, even though we miss him more than words could ever convey, I know without a doubt, I will see him again one day, and for that reason I can rejoice and look forward to that day. I hope you can too.
More Memories of Albert Logan
BELOVED AL, WE WILL MISS YOU, BUT WE SHALL ALWAYS REMEMBER THE DEEP AND TRUE LOVE YOU HAD FOR ELLEN. WE HOPE TO SEE YOU AGAIN IN THE HEAVENLY LIFE YET TO COME.

Al was special to everyone that had the privilege of knowing him. He was a wonderful friend to me and my husband, John. John doesn’t have any family except 2 nieces on the West Coast so Al was always doing things for John to make him feel cared about and special. He just loved helping people.
He loved the Lord and was the best husband to Ellen. He is missed by so many and will always be remembered.
Al will always be special to everyone who knew him. Loved him and sure miss him. He was a very special friend.
Al was a great man, I have so many memories of him that have impacted my life. I remember a time when Amanda went to the hospital for back surgery, I missed church and Al and Ellen came by to check on me. I was feeling down and was hurting. Sitting in my driveway Al and Ellen grabbed my hand and prayed for me and my family. I felt the love that a father gives to his son at that moment, and I think that was the turning point of our relationship. I really miss our phone calls and hanging out working on the tractor. No matter how bad I was feeling he always made me feel good. Al was a true Christian and welcomed me with open arms. I miss him and know we will meet again.
Al was my brother in law. He was a good man and a great husband to my sister. He was always there to lend a hand if you needed anything. He was a wonderful friend to my daughter who is handicapped. He keep her laughing and smiling. She loved him with all her heart. He is truly missed by all who knew him!!
Al was much more like a brother than a brother in law. So many times he helped me but it is how he loved my parents that I remember most fondly. I never went on a mission trip without huge bags of goodie’s compliments of Al. Children throughout Central America and Cuba benefited so much from his generosity even though they never met him!
