Mother, we had 95 wonderful years with you. Celebrating birthdays, child births, holidays and family deaths. You raised three children basically on your own and we all made wonderful lives for ourselves.

You were a caring, sharing and loving mother and friend to many people. Numerous trips were made to Phoenix, AZ and Baltimore, MD. to take care of your brothers prior to their death. You spent many months in Hickory caring for my brother until he passed. Not many mothers outlive their two sons but you buried both of them.

My husband, myself and our 3 month old daughter moved to Winston-Salem in 1974 and we traveled back and forth from Hickory to Winston-Salem for many years. In 1999 you moved to Winston-Salem and eventually we built you an apartment in our home where you lived for 23 years. There were many wonderful memories created in this home.

You were a cherished Mema to 5 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter.

Rest in peace with the Heavenly Father and all of your family. We love you and will always miss you!!!!!
