The memories that we have are so special. Our dad would always take us to Virginia in station wagen and stopping on the side of the road to eat our mom’s fried chicken. He would faithfully take my brother on his paper route early in the mornings before school. He always made sure we had something for Christmas with the traditional paper bag with nuts and fruit. He taught us how to play horseshoes in our backyard. He was always there to take care of our mother even when he wasn’t sure how to. He would always be there anytime one of us or any of our children got sick even when we became adults. Dad you are truly missed.
