Known to everyone as Chuckie loved life. He was always wanting to help others. Chuckie rode a bicycle named a bone shaker for almost 50 years in the annual Christmas parade. This year they are honoring him as Grand Marshal. Chuckie was a volunteer firefighter for 40 years and he was in the National Guard for 8 years. Chuckie fought a courageous battle not allowing cancer to stop him from helping others. While on hospice, just 13 years prior to his passing he did a charity motorcycle ride for a friend who is battling health issues. Chuckie loved to cook for others even though he wasn’t able to eat or drink anything for the last 5 years.

More Memories of Charles Clement
  • Sarah Shepard says:

Chuckie was my cousin that always helped those in the community. He even came to visit his aunt in the nursing home when he was sick himself. Yes, he loved to fry fish at our family reunions. Miss you Chuckie!

  • Michael Brewer says:

Chuckie was one of the main reasons we chose to move to Mocksville! We looked up places to rent in Mocksville and found a one-bedroom rental. While driving to check it out, we realized it was near Chuckies house. Lo and behold, it was one street over and we could even see his American flag waving. Keep that flag waving our friend so when we walk out of our front door. We see you!
