03/14/30-03/09/20 Daddy’s passion was sharing Jesus Christ with everyone from serving in all capacities at Union Chapel UMC from usher, lay leader, Sunday school teacher and superintendent to serving on boards and committee’s as well as overseeing the cemetery to name a few. He attended his beloved church until his health declined. He was also a member of the Gideon’s International Davie County chapter where he served the jail ministry for over 30 years. He was a member of the Masons. He was a US Army Veteran serving in the Korean War. He was such a hardworking and humble man. He loved trees and walking through the timber on his mountain as he was a sawmill man. We miss him daily but we know he’s with God, our Momma and his friends and relatives in Heaven. See ya later, Daddy and thanks for everything. Love you.
