My Mom, was 99 yrs old, truly an amazing woman. She almost made it to 100 but it wasn’t in the stars. My Mom had a zest for life, Mom enjoyed shopping and going out to Cracker Barrel. She never complained about anything, I took care of her and she took care of me. We lived together for over 30 years in the same house, we shared everything, good and bad times. She was an amazing cook, of course being Italian how could she not be! The times we would sit and talk about her growing up in Brooklyn NY, and all our relatives! Mom and I had great times together and I miss her dearly. She loved her grandkids and of course her cats. There wasn’t a thing that my mom wouldn’t do for me…I loved my mother and she knew it, I was very sad towards the end for her, the nursing homes she had to endure was just awful! BUT, I will say she had great care at KMC here in Kernersville, NC. For her last days, they were amazing! Rest in Peace Mother, your not in a better place but I know you had to go, it was time. At 99 years old, you lived a great life. We all miss you…..I miss my best friend…my Mom. I love you, always.
