Much love to my dad. After a fall on January 29 at his home, that caused broken ribs and much pain and discomfort it was also discovered he was eaten up with cancer. He was 89 and strong as they come. After discharge from Forsyth Medical Center he was accepted by the Trellis Hospice facility. The staff members, the care and attention and just the atmosphere at the facility were a wonderful experience for him to spend his final days.
Between my brothers and I, he was visited by family every single day and had moments of nostalgia, reminiscing and just heart felt love.

My sweet dad passed on March 11 and he was able to share time with all three of his children on that day. The staff and caregivers were very polite, caring, loving and aware of the family feelings and also his.

I miss him, but I know he is pain free and life for our immediate family has changed, as is meant to be.
