Robert Lee Simpson- my daddy- and the best in the world in my heart, was born number seven of nine, to a farming family. He grew up in WWII. He had heart problems his whole life. He served two years in the US Army. He married the “prettiest girl in the world”, and she was! Together they had three children. Daddy was very talented and always worked hard. He had very high standards in all he did and always taught us to do the right thing and treat others as we would like to be treated. Daddy lived to be ninety-one years old. He had lost his wife as a young mother, his infant son, his baby son at thirty-two, and a granddaughter. He was awake and aware when he took the hand of Jesus Christ and entered into his eternal home. I miss you every day, daddy. I know you are in perfect peace and those of us who are left will be there when it is time!
