My mom, Veronice Gaines is loved and missed very much. I just went inside her home and her bedroom last week. This was the first time I’ve been there since she passed. It felt different. I think I was looking for her to be there. I laid across her bed and remembered how I loved laying across the bed with her talking, sleeping, or watching tv. We would talk about Jennifer Hudson’s outfits, and I can let my mom know she has really stepped up. We would remember the good bad and fun times we had and how she was so very proud of her children and her grandchildren’s accomplishments. She loved us all. She would say everyone has a penny now.
