My Daddys name is Clyde Lippard Jr. He was a hard-working Christian man. Anybody that spoke of him always spoke highly of him. He was the best Daddy!! He loved my mama and she loved him. Married almost 71 years. He was always doing things to help us kids in any way he could. He was the father figure to my son and was always there for us. My daddy had difficulty walking a long time and wheelchair bound for the last few years. Every time we would say Daddy what do u want for any occasion, and he would always say, “I just wanna walk.” God decided to give him his wish on Jan 2nd. He left us to go be beside Jesus. We all know Daddy is in heaven and he is now able to walk again perfectly with no pain. I can’t wait until I see him again but for now, he is in the hearts of all of us. We all love you so much and miss you Daddy❤️

Uncle Bud had the biggest booming voice of any man I’ve ever known. He was also one of the sweetest men I’ve ever known in my life. I remember when I was a little girl and me and mama (his sister or “sis” as he called her) would stop by and see him at his office at Bamby Bakery in Salisbury. It always smelled so good there!! Just like fresh baked bread! I never saw Bud be unkind to anyone. He had a fun sense of humor and loved his family oh so much. I loved hearing stories from mama about their childhood. They grew up sharing a bicycle and she said they never fought over who ride it when. He did however chase her with a hoe and chopped at her ankle one time when he was little and she did something to make him mad. He would always send her a funny birthday card in the mail. She loved getting those. Uncle Bud was one of a kind. We should all try to be a little more like he was.
